Victor's mother does not work as she has to look after Victor's baby sister, and the family is helped out by Victor's grandfather who pays their rent. Victor's favorite song is 'Osito Gominola' (Gummy Bear) and his favorite color is green. In his spare time Victor likes to play with his mother's telephone. Victor's favorite animals are lions. Yeremy lives with his mother and two sisters in Jocotenango. His father passed away. The family's house is made of cement blocks and sheet metal, and has an earth floor. They share one room and use a table top stove to cook. Yeremy's mother earns money by completing household tasks in other people's houses as well as doing work as a stylist. She earns around Q960 ($122) a month. Yeremy was born with kidney problems and, four years ago, needed a kidney transplant. He received his kidney from his mother. Yeremy takes medicine to help with his kidney problems and has to regulate his diet and water intake when his kidneys are causing him problems. Yeremy receives help from a hospital in Guatemala City who pay for his medicine, although they will only support him until he is 18. Yeremy and his family still have to cover other costs such as transport to medical appointments and medical examination costs. Yeremy's favorite color is white and his favorite animals are dogs. He likes the music of Bad Bunny and Ozuna. Yeremy likes to draw things in his spare time. Yeremy is really happy to be studying at school as he knows how important it is for his future. His favorite subject in school is math and his goal this year is to pass his classes and to continue bettering himself.
