Biography
Araceli lives in Ciudad Vieja with her mother, sister, grandmother, uncle and aunt. Their house is rented and is made of sheet metal with a dirt floor. The family uses firewood to cook their food. Araceli’s mother is currently going through a court case and faces 6 years in prison. The family was previously a part of our ITEMP program. Araceli’s mother is working on a farm and earns Q1300 ($173) a month for the family. This year, Araceli is in 5th grade.
Araceli’s favorite color is red and her favorite food is pizza. Her favorite animals are cats. In her free time she likes to play dolls with her sister.
When she is older, Araceli would like to be a lawyer. Her favorite subject in school is computing and her goal for this year is to learn how to swim.
If she could have any superpower, Araceli would have super intelligence. If she had $1 million, Araceli would give it all to her mother to spend.
