Biography

Bayron lives in Ciudad Vieja with his mother, sisters and nieces. Their house is rented and is made of sheet metal with a dirt floor. The family uses firewood to cook their food. Bayron’s sister is currently going through a court case and faces 6 years in prison. The family was previously a part of our ITEMP program. Bayron’s sister is working on a farm and earns Q1300 ($173) a month for the family. This year, Bayron is in 8th grade.
Bayron’s favorite color is red and his favorite food is fried chicken with rice. His favorite animals are tigers. In his free time he likes to read and play football.
When he is older, Bayron would like to be an accountant. His favorite subjects in school are math and computing and his goal for this year is to improve his grades.
If he could have any superpower, Bayron would have the power to fly. If he had $1 million, Bayron would use it to help his family and other people in need.
