Biography

Briza lives in Pastores with her mother and six siblings. Their house is rented and is a single room made of sheet metal with a cement floor. The family has 3 beds between the 8 family members. Briza’s mother makes and sells tortillas with Briza’s grandmother and they earn Q1500 ($200) a month between them. This year, Briza is in preschool. Briza’s favourite colour is pink and her favourite food is beef soup. Her favourite animals are cats. In her free time she likes to play hide and seek with her siblings. When she is older, Briza would like to be a teacher. Her favourite subject in school is P.E. and her goal for this year is to learn how to play basketball. If she could have any superpower, Briza would have the power to jump really high. If she had $1 million, Briza would build a kitchen and support her father.
