Biography

Debora lives in San Lorenzo El Cubo with her mother, seven siblings and two nieces. There are 10 people living in their house, which is made of sheet metal with a dirt floor. The family have no possessions other than the beds that they have been given by the Project. Debora’s mother works as a cleaner and earns Q600 ($80) a month. This is the first year that Debora has been studying and she was enrolled with the support of the Project. This year Debora is in preschool. Debora’s favourite colour is red and her favourite food is chicken. Her favourite animals are cows. In her free time she likes to play with dolls. When she is older, Debora would like to be a doctor. She is excited to do art in school and her goal for this year is to help her mother. If she could have any superpower, Debora have the power to fly. If she had $1 million, Debora would give it to her mother.
