Biography

Elías lives in Antigua Guatemala with his mother, father, sister and two brothers. Their house is rented and is a small single room. Before the Project donated the family a bed, they slept on the floor. Elías’s father is a shoeshine in the streets of Antigua and his mother washes clothes and sells tortillas. Between them they earn around Q1300 ($173) a month. In 2024 Elías will be in fourth grade. Elías’s favourite colour is light blue and his favourite food is pizza. His favourite animals are cats. He likes to play football his free time. When he is older, Elías would like to be a police officer. His favourite class in school is maths and his goal for this year is to join a football team. If he could have any superpower, Elías would have super speed. If he had $1 million, Elías would buy trainers and a football and then give the rest to his mother.
