Biography

Estuardo lives in San Antonio Aguas Calientes with his mother, stepfather, brother and sister. Their house is rented and is made of sheet metal with a dirt floor. Estuardo and his twin brother share a room while his parents and baby sister share another. The family has received a bed and stove from the Project. Estuardo’s stepfather is a carpenter and earns Q2400 ($320) a month. This year, Estuardo is in fourth grade. Estuardo’s favourite colour is red and his favourite food is chow mein. His favourite animals are sharks. In his free time he likes to play football. When he is older, Estuardo would like to be a firefighter. His favourite subject in school is Kaqchikel and his goal for this year is to be more respectful. If he could have any superpower, Estuardo would have super speed. If he had $1 million, Estuardo would use it to buy a piece of land, clothes and shoes.
