Biography
Isabela lives in Alta Loma with her mother, father and two sisters. Their house is rented and is made of cement blocks and wood with a sheet metal roof. The family has no possessions apart from two beds which they all share. The family often cannot afford firewood and so they burn their old clothes to cook their food. Isabela’s father sells ice cream in the streets of Antigua and earns Q1200 ($160) a month. This year, Isabela is in 3rd grade.
Isabela’s favorite color is pink and her favorite food is beans. Her favorite animals are rabbits. In her free time she likes to play with her dolls.
When she is older, Isabela would like to be a lawyer. Her favorite subjects in school are math and art and her goal for this year is to run faster.
If she could have any superpower, Isabela would have super intelligence. If she had $1 million, Isabela would buy land and build a house for her family.
