Biography

Alex lives in San Gaspar Vivar with his mother, father, brother and two sisters. There are 19 people living in their house, which is rented, and Alex and his family share a single room. The family have no possessions and some of the children were sleeping on the floor before the Project gave them new beds. Alex’s mother and father work in the fields and earn Q1500 ($200) a month between them. This year, Alex is in second grade. Alex’s favourite colour is blue and his favourite food is pasta. His favourite animals are cats. In his free time he likes to play football. When he is older, Alex would like to be a doctor. His favourite subject in school is art and his goal for this year is to get good grades. If he could have any superpower, Alex would have super strength. If he had $1 million, Alex would buy his family a house and a car.
