Biography

Kimberlin lives in San Lorenzo El Tejar with her mother, father, brother and sister. Their house is made of sheet metal with a sheet metal roof. It is precariously placed on the side of a hill and was built by another Project. The family has no possessions apart from a bed. They are also currently being loaned two sofas. Kimberlin’s father works in the fields and her mother sells tortillas. They earn around Q900 ($120) a month between them. This year, Kimberlin is in 6th grade.
Jimena’s favorite color is red and her favorite food is rice. Her favorite animals are dogs and cats. In her free time she likes to play with her toys and help her mother with chores.
When she is older, Jimena would like to be a doctor. Her favorite subject in school is art and her goal for this year is to run faster.
If she could have any superpower, Jimena would have super intelligence. If she had $1 million, Jimena would use it to help people in need.
