Biography
Kimberly lives in San Juan Alotenango with her mother, father, 5 sisters, 2 brothers, brother-in-law and niece. Their house is being loaned to them and is made of sheet metal with a dirt floor. The family uses firewood to cook their food. This year, the Project has supported the family with a bunkbed, stove and Ecofilter. Kimberly’s father works in the fields and earns Q1200 ($160) a month. This year, Kimberly is in 1st grade.
Kimberly’s favorite color is red and her favorite food is eggs. Her favorite animals are elephants. In her free time she likes to paint.
When she is older, Kimberly would like to be a teacher. Her favorite subject in school is literacy and her goal for this year is to help her mother more in the house.
If she could have any superpower, Kimberly would have the power to talk to animals. If she had $1 million, Kimberly would buy food and use the rest to help her mother.
