Biography

Abi (her nickname) lives with her single mother and her siblings. They live in a small one room house made of wood with a cement floor. To take care of the family, her mother cleans houses. She only earns about $120 per month.

Abi likes playing with her sister and listening to rhythmic music. She also likes to read and to learn new things. Her favorite color is yellow. She likes horses. Her favorite class at the Scheel Center is citizenship. Her goal is to do well in school and continue passing all her classes until she graduates. She would like to be a bilingual secretary someday because she likes to learn to speak other languages.
