Biography

Yesica lives in Antigua with her mother, sister and two brothers. Their house is rented, and is two rooms made of cement blocks and sheet metal with a sheet metal roof. They only have electricity for four hours a day. Yesica, her mother and sister sell sweets and cigarettes in the streets of Antigua and often work late into the night. This year, Yesica is in 2nd grade. Yesica’s favorite color is red and her favorite food is pepián. In her free time she likes to play hide and seek and listen to children’s songs. When she is older, Yesica would like to be a waitress. Her favorite class in school is PE and her goal for next year is to learn to read. If she could have any superpower, Yesica would have the powers of Superman. If she had $1 million, Yesica would give half to her mother and buy a house.
